Nancy Diane Erbe[1] is an American negotiation, conflict resolution and peacebuilding professor at California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH). She is a Fulbright Scholar, Senior Specialist in Peace and Conflict Resolution, and a Fulbright Distinguished Chair. She has received five Fulbright Honors (Distinguished Scholar[2] & Fulbright Specialist Awards).[3] She is the recipient of the Presidential Outstanding Professor Award 2015.[4]

Life and education

Nancy Erbe graduated from University of Minnesota with a Juris Doctor (cum laude), and Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution, Pepperdine University School of Law with an L.L.M. She was the Founding Director of Rotary Center for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution, University of California, Berkeley.

Nancy Erbe's Law Journal on human trafficking (this article was also translated by the U.N. into several languages for distribution[5]) was cited by New Zealand's Ministry of Justice.[6]

Nancy Erbe’s article on “ Skillful Mediation Effectively Bridges Differences” was published by Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre.[7]

U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Brazil held an event to honor Nancy Erbe on conclusion of her Fulbright Distinguished Chair Award in 2015 where Consul General said "that the topic that Prof. Erbe presented is not only timely, but also supports priority goals and objectives established by the U.S. Diplomatic Mission for U.S.-Brazil bilateral relations."U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Brazil[8]

Nancy Erbe's book "Cross-Cultural Collaboration and Leadership in Modern Organizations" was cited by NASA.[9]
